Ashley Update

Even with Ashley visiting us...we're still boring. She goes home in a week and Stephen is already looking forward to the trip so he can watch his "movies" which means the same annoying Max & Ruby video over & over again. Ashley now cries when we pull into the parking lot of Stephen's preschool, one of the workers came up to her yesterday and asked her, "don't you know the routine yet?" To her credit, she does stop crying when we get to the car. Stephen's preschool is having a Parent's Night Out this Friday night that both kids will be going to. So Ashley is happy that she gets to go to "school" with Stephen one day.

She'll be happy to leave this house of mean people...I'm trying to prepare her for Tracy not being able to lift her up too much so I'm not stopping her from climbing in and out of her pack 'n play. After watching Stephen do it, she can now climb into her carseat and is trying to do the straps all by herself. She can also climb out of the car. And I'm making her sit next to me on the couch instead of in my lap...I'm not handling pressure on my tummy very well so that serves two purposes. It's supposed to rain for the next 3 days here...we're all going to be stir crazy from not being able to play outside.
